MKPISIOLAEDO @ 12
MKPISI OLA EDO @ 12
Some student teachers from T.T.C Uzuakoli were punished for attending a ceremony, to be precise a conferment of chieftaincy title on one of their teachers. The punishment ranged from cutting the grasses to suspension. Some of the teachers of the college also attended the same occasion, instead of concentrating on the occasion protocols, they engaged on compiling names of the students that attended.
Nigerian Television Authority Channel 6 Aba gave a visual coverage of the day centring on the youngest chief who happened to be one of its ad hoc staff.
Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria Aba Diocese exhibited a strong solidarity to their dynamic diocesan and provincial president who was barely one year in office.
Umuokereke Ohuru Women Union attended en mass to witness the beautification of an illustrious grand son “Papa Civi”
Obuba Community School was the venue. The ceremony’s highlight was the enthronement of Avosi II.
When the successor of Avosi 1, Late HRM Eze Benard Oyoyo, His Royal Majesty, Eze Jehu Chinedu Ngobi jp, the Avosi II was presenting the citation on this glorious day Thursday, 25th May, 2001, two outstanding fellows were at the recipient rear; his father, Rt Rev. M.D Amucha and Mr Lawrence Nwogwugwu, his secondary school fine art teacher These two were truly the initiators of “mkpisi ola edo”
Mkpisi Ola Edo meaning “the Golden Pen” is the traditional chieftaincy title conferred on Emmanuel Kelechi Chinedu Amucha. This was in appreciation of this creative and cultural icon of our time. Kelechi's school mates and colleagues in all the facets of life he has endeavoured can attest that this title, the giver and the time it was given is a round peg deposited in a round hole.
As we celebrate your 12 years as Mkpisiolaedo, let us pray for more God’s wisdom and guidance to enable you achieve more. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.!
